David Welder is a career environmental engineer, artist, and naturalist. Dave writes likes he speaks--straight to the point with a dose of humor, giving the impression that you're sitting with him by the wood stove in his hand-hewn home. David's recent public speaking engagements include a live interview on Wisconsin Public Radio's Larry Meiller Show (July 7, 2023), and a presentation at the 2023 Midwest Renewable Energy Association's Green Energy Fair  (June 29, 2023).

He lives in northern Wisconsin in his off-grid home with his wife Veronica.
